Who are Convex Performance, and what do you do?
We're a recruitment agency for salespeople. We place closers inside lead gen and paid ads agencies and train them on each client's sales system. After you're placed, we act as your sales manager. We review your calls and support you while you sell.
Who would I be selling for?
Our clients are lead gen and paid ads agencies. They already get leads and booked calls, and they need someone good to close them. The agencies on our roster do $50k-$250k/month.
How does the commission structure work?
Roles are commission based, with no base salary. A closer typically earns around 10% of the cash they collect for the client, with no cap. The exact rate is agreed with each client before you start, and OTE is $5k-$20k/month.
Do I have to pay for the training?
No. The training is free to you because the client pays us to train you on the system we built for their business. You get coached by our team on recorded calls, with every process documented.
What happens after I apply?
Our team reviews every application, usually within two working days. If it looks like a fit, we book a call with you. It's a relaxed 15 minute chat about what you've done and what you want. If that goes well, you go on the shortlist. Then the client interviews you directly.
Who do I actually work for day to day?
You work for the client. You close deals for their business, and the agency owner stays the business owner. Convex Performance acts as your sales manager. We handle your training and call reviews, and we support you every day.
How much can I actually earn?
Roles usually pay $5k-$20k/month on commission. Where you land in that range depends on the client you're placed with and how well you close.
Do I need a degree or years of experience?
No. We care about work ethic, coachability and honesty. Those are the things we can't teach.
